KAVT is a volunteer-run organization, and 100% of your donation will go directly toward supporting veteran teachers across the state of Kansas.  

We strive to create personal and meaningful forms of recognition for veteran teachers who are celebrating milestones or who demonstrate an ongoing commitment and passion for teaching.  With your help we hope to create a network of support that will promote and advance a culture of appreciation for veteran teachers.  By so doing, we seek to inspire veteran teachers to remain in teaching, help and guide new teachers, and motivate all teachers to be proud of their profession.
